The Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Evergreen named Associate, Tim Wilson, as the 2014 Young Professional of the Year during its Honoree Awards Celebration on March 5, 2015

The Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Evergreen hosted its annual Honoree Awards Celebration on March 5, 2015. During the awards ceremony, the Chamber and Leadership Evergreen honored the many nominees from across the Evergreen community, including those nominated for Leader of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Youth of the Year, Government Entity/Official of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year. Mr. Wilson won the award for Young Professional of the Year.

Mr. Wilson merged his existing law practice (previously nominated in 2013 for New Business of the Year) and joined Sells Law Firm in early 2014 after attorney, Susan Stearns, announced her retirement. His practice is primarily focused on estate planning and estate administration. Now, just over a year later, he proudly continues the strong estate planning legacy of Ms. Stearns and is an established leader within the community.

Mr. Wilson currently serves on the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors, Co-chairs the Foothills Young Professionals group, and acts as an Ambassador on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also involved in a number of Chamber committees such as the legal and government affairs committees. He has also volunteered to help several local events and causes around the community such as the Dam Duck Derby for Downtown Evergreen, Emily's Parade for the I Love U Guys Foundation, and the Revel Rockies Half and Full Marathons for Drive Smart. He also provides free educational seminars about estate planning and has performed pro bono legal work for those in Evergreen and the surrounding communities.
